WatchGrid is an Electron-based desktop browser with a local-first workspace model.
Your workspaces, pane layouts, browsing history, and license status are stored on your Mac. WatchGrid only contacts the license API when you buy, activate, or restore Pro access.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Video pages you open inside WatchGrid remain subject to those websites' own privacy policies and platform rules.
Known limitations.
WatchGrid is a browser for arranging and controlling multiple web video pages. It cannot bypass platform restrictions.
Video sites vary
Some services restrict playback, embedding, login sessions, DRM-protected streams, or simultaneous viewing. WatchGrid does not guarantee every video site will work.
Ads and skip buttons
Ad skip assistance is a best-effort browser feature for supported skip buttons. Sites may change behavior, require interaction, or prevent automated controls.
Mac first
The current public download is for Apple Silicon Mac. Windows support is planned separately and will require its own signed installer.
